Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, Business or a related field or Law degree (J.D.) from an accredited Law school
  • Minimum of 20 years of in-house, broad-based working experience in traditional operations Land Negotiator roles
  • Must possess advanced analytical skills.
  • Must have knowledge of land principles and their application with the ability to analyze leases, division orders, and contracts to determine ownership within a prospect.
  • Knowledge of multiple state and federal regulations in our areas of operation.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to identify areas of improvement and to introduce innovative and sound solutions.
  • Ability to prepare and present clear, concise and persuasive oral/written opinions, reports and presentations.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required.
  • Extremely organized individual with the capacity to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects.   
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with a multidisciplinary oil and gas team and capacity to establish professional credibility with internal and external contacts.
  • Energetic self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility of working extended hours as needed.
